Beach lovers, rejoice!

Our beach club with palapa-shaded lounging, exclusively for hotel guests, is a pleasant five-minute walk along a countryside path bordering the golf course (or a quick ride via golf cart). At the south end of Ixtapa’s Playa del Palmar, this is the loveliest location with the best swimming. A stroll or run on the soft-sand beach provides nature’s own foot massage and exfoliation. This is a privileged place for a morning jog, or watching the sun setting spectacularly into the Pacific horizon while sipping a signature Loma del Mar cocktail.

NEWS (June 2010) The National Environmental Commission for Clean Water has certified Ixtapa’s Playa del Palmar as one of Mexico’s top three cleanest and sustainable beaches as well as the largest of all (it is 2 miles long).
